Creating a healthy, smiling society through preventive medicine

Guided by our philosophy of “creating a healthy, smiling society through preventive medicine,” we are committed to two complementary missions: making preventive medical screenings readily accessible to enable early disease detection, and delivering reliable medical information in an age of information overload—both in Japan and around the world.

Change the world through preventive medicine.

The three leading causes of death—cancer, heart disease, and stroke. Although cancer is said to be curable if detected early, screenings are still not fully effective. Likewise, lifestyle‐related diseases can be prevented. At Setolabo, guided by our philosophy of “creating a healthy, smiling society through preventive medicine,” we are committed both to making preventive screenings easily accessible for early disease detection and to delivering accurate medical information in an age of information overload.

VISION

MISSION

Fearlessly embrace every challenge

In Japan, those who can’t stay on the prescribed track are often labeled “odd” or “different.” Yet we believe that world-changers are the people who spot what others miss, make plans, take action, and continually drive change. Failure only exists when you give up, and it’s by persistently challenging assumptions that Setolabo can achieve what no one else can.

PHILOSOPHY

Creating a healthy, smiling society through preventive medicine

Patients discharged with a particular illness often end up readmitted that very same evening for the exact same condition, creating a cycle of discharge and readmission. This isn’t limited to developing countries—it’s happening in Japan too. Moreover, most of these cases stem from lifestyle factors and can be prevented through proactive measures. No matter how tirelessly medical staff work around the clock, there’s never an end to admissions if we only treat symptoms. We believe that by focusing on preventive medicine and medical education to stop issues at their root, we can make tomorrow’s society healthier than today’s.

VISION

Approach tasks with a sense of ownership and a commitment to contributing to society

At Setolabo, we offer a diverse range of services centered on preventive medicine. Guided by our philosophy of “creating a healthy, smiling society through preventive medicine,” we focus on two main approaches: making preventive screenings readily accessible for early disease detection, and delivering accurate medical information in an era of information overload. Our market extends not only across Japan but also overseas. In addition, we undertake both internal and external projects to address various societal challenges—domestically and internationally—through research and development initiatives and business activities.
