Setolabo LLC (headquarters: Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture; CEO: Dr. Okada Yuki) has announced that it will establish the Chugoku-Shikoku PCR Testing Center, the largest in western Japan, and will be responsible for PCR testing in the Chugoku-Shikoku and Kansai regions, centered on Kagawa Prefecture.
Preparations are already underway to establish a PCR testing center, with the aim of starting operations in October after registering as a hygiene testing facility. Through PCR testing, we will build an economic foundation that is resilient to infectious diseases in the COVID-19 era.
The company has also begun making arrangements to allow PCR tests to be taken at medical institutions throughout Kagawa Prefecture for a self-pay fee of 5,000 yen. A request for cooperation was made to all medical institutions in Kagawa Prefecture in early September, and the company’s representative expressed doubts about this situation, as PCR tests have become a business. The company has already started providing information on its special website, allowing PCR tests to be conducted for 5,000 yen, but only for companies within Kagawa Prefecture. The company also plans to conduct PCR tests on individuals.
